Young Victims’ Service
The Young Victims’ Service (YVS) support young people aged 5 to 18 years old who have been victims of crime, anti-social behaviour or domestic abuse.
The service ensures children and young people have appropriate, practical and emotional support to help them cope and recover from their experience as a victim of crime, as well as helping them engage with the criminal justice system if they choose to do so.
The service is also available to people with additional learning needs who are 18 to 25 years old.
The service offers support with current and historical crime.
Who can use the service?
The service is available to those living in:
- Bath and North East Somerset
- Bristol
- North Somerset
- Somerset
- South Gloucestershire
Available to both those who report to the police and those who do not.
