Safe Link
The Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) funds Safe Link to run the Independent Sexual Violence Advisors (ISVA).
ISVAs provide dedicated support for anyone who has been the victim of rape or sexual abuse. They also support the victim’s family and assist with practical issues such as helping with housing, benefits and support at work.
Safe Link provides support for women, men and children who have been a victim of rape and sexual abuse.
The service provides:
- a safe place to talk
- access to counselling
- support attending Sexual Health Services
- help with medical issues
SafeLink can also help with housing, benefits and support at work.
The service offers support with current and historical crime.
Who can use the service?
The service is available to those living in:
- Bath and North East Somerset
- Bristol
- North Somerset
- South Gloucestershire
Available to both those who report to the police and those who do not.
