Resolve West
The Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) funds Resolve West to run the Avon and Somerset Restorative Justice Service.
Resolve West help victims of crime or anti-social behaviour to have a voice and to feel heard, and for offenders to understand the impact of their actions and change their behaviour.
The Restorative Justice Service uses restorative justice that brings together victims and offenders to highlight the impact of crime on an individual to prevent future crimes.
The service provides an alternative way of dealing with an offence or incident and can be used in a variety of situations.
The Restorative Justice Facilitators will offer support and guide the victim(s) and the person responsible for causing the harm (the offender) through the process.
The service offers support with current and historical crime.
Who can use the service?
The service is available to those living in:
- Bath and North East Somerset
- Bristol
- North Somerset
- Somerset
- South Gloucestershire
Available to both those who report to the police and those who do not.
