Joint Governance Framework

The framework sets out the roles and responsibilities of the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) and Chief Constable (CC). The framework consists of three parts: the statement, code and scheme of governance. Together they provide clarity to the way the PCC and Chief Constable govern both jointly and independently to ensure they are conducting their business in the right way, for the right reasons at the right time.
