Last week, Lisa Vango, Senior Partnerships and Engagement Manager from Avon and Somerset Violence Reduction Partnership; and Darcey Warren, our Communication and Youth Engagement Apprentice attended the Somerset Activity and Sport Partnerships (SASP) conference – ‘Connecting the Somerset Landscape for Early Help (children)’ on the 18th of July.

The conference was attended by over 100 professionals and volunteers across Avon and Somerset, and brought together services and organisations to meet, map and connect. It also included a chance to come together and learn trauma informed practices.

SASP in partnership with Wesport currently have a live funding opportunity, the Crime Prevention Through Sport Fund, which aims to support projects that use sport and physical activity to reduce violence, crime and anti-social behaviour.
