SALARY: £42,307 – £49,602 depending on experience

TERM: Permanent, full-time

We are looking for a Senior Communications Manager to join the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner’s (OPCC) Communications and Engagement team.

You will deputise to the Head of Communications by supporting the oversight of our communications, engagement and consultation strategies.

You will deliver high quality public relations – including working with local, regional and national media – to proactively promote the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC), their priorities and the Police and Crime Plan.

You will own the communications portfolio for the PCC’s national Economic and Cyber Crime lead role with the Association of the Police and Crime Commissioners (APCC) and deliver activity as part of a strategic communications plan.

The role also offers the opportunity of direct line management as well as supervisory duties for the rest of the team.

The OPCC have a hybrid working approach which incorporates blended office and home working.
